What is Drama Therapy?
A drama Therapist uses creative techniques such as stories, poetry, drama, music, play, movement, theatre, visual arts and talking therapy. This approach supports people with physical needs, mental health, emotional challenges, communication difficulties and social barriers.
Drama therapy has been successful with people of all ages and from all walks of life. We encourage individual’s to take their first steps and actions to thrive and cultivate their optimal life goals.
I have integrated drama therapy with the concepts of the EBAN Adinkra symbol, and The Four Enlightening Creations. Whist also offering a culturally competent inclusive environment for African, Caribbean people who have experienced social isolation, generational trauma and more.
The sessions are delivered by an experienced Consultant Drama Therapist who practices under the guide of The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The British Association Of Drama therapist (Badth).

Testimonials
Drama Therapy: A Workshop
““This concept is a great programme when dealing with today issues. It speaks to situations that cover history, religion, social conditioning and various others,”
A Counsellor’s experience
Drama Therapy: Racial Trauma
“Engaging in drama therapy and not having to speak directly about my internalised experiences of racial trauma. Helped me to recover quicker because I did not want to go through the pain or suffering of re-living the situation all over again”
The Client’s experience
Drama Therapy: Body Consciousness Eczema
”The first lockdown is the worst experience of having to not take care of my eczema. I was itching everywhere and mum had to get stuff to stop the itching. Therapy helped me realised how to not stress out and be depressed about eczema.
One day I got fed up because of my eczema, and not doing anything but sit at home. Qet Nefert told me to do things (like gym, going with friends and relaxing outside) that I used to do before the second lockdown. It helped me to go out more again, It made me happy less bored and made me wanted to look after my eczema.”
